This policy explains what information Lavack Design ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website, lavackdesign.com, and the internal tools we operate to deliver our services.
Who we are
Lavack Design is a web design, development and digital marketing agency based in Grosse Ile, Michigan, United States. We have operated since 2004.

Information we collect from this website
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
You can opt out at any time using Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers that includes your IP address.
Our internal Google Ads tool
This section covers the internal software tool we use to manage advertising for our clients, and describes our handling of Google user data obtained through Google APIs.
We operate an internal tool that connects to the Google Ads API to manage advertising campaigns in accounts our clients have asked us to manage. It runs locally on our own equipment and is used only by Lavack Design staff and contractors. It is not a product, it is not offered to the public, and no client or third party can log into it.
Regarding data accessed through Google APIs:
- We access only the Google Ads accounts linked to our own Google Ads manager account — that is, accounts whose owners have engaged us to manage their advertising.
- We use this data solely to report on and manage those advertising campaigns.
- We do not store Google Ads data. Results are displayed to the operator and discarded; there is no database of Google user data.
- We do not sell, rent, license or share Google user data with any third party, and we do not use it for advertising, credit assessment, or to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- Access credentials are stored locally with restricted file permissions and are never transmitted anywhere except to Google.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for.
- To operate, maintain and improve this website.
- To manage advertising campaigns on behalf of clients who have engaged us to do so.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share information with
We share information only where it is necessary to run our business, and only with providers who process it on our behalf — for example our website host, email provider, and Google Analytics. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
When we act on a client's behalf inside their own advertising or website accounts, that data remains the client's; we act as their service provider.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, where a working relationship follows, for the life of that relationship plus any period our legal and tax obligations require. Google Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in that product. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to our systems and to client accounts is restricted, credentials are stored with restricted permissions, and we keep our software up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You may opt out of analytics as described above. To make a request, email rick@lavack.com — we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
